THE BOY AND HIS GIRL....THANKS TO THE TALENTS OF EMILY

I took little Eli and his girl, Cassie, to Em's place to have his senior pics taken. Emmy was kind enough to schlep her SLR and her talent all over wine country and snap over 300 photos. Really. They were amazing. These are only a handful of the shots. There are so many to choose from, but I wanted to just put SOMETHING up and give a big SHOUT OUT to my girl for her talent, her patience, her willingness to share her talent (what good is it if you don't share it, right?) and her love. Her true talent is in post-production....what she does with color is amazing!!! AMAZING!!! It changes an entire shot....You should see some of the stuff she has of the kiddos....breath taking....so here...here's the last kid....the final fella....and his girl....*sigh*....ENJOY!

Nancy....alas, the wine country had harvested their grapes so the scenery was not at its most luscious....so we settled for an orange grove in wine country...so we are open to orange juice ;)

Eli....I can't tell you how often I have felt that it was so synchronous about the naming....so very synchronous.....

Nelly, we'll be getting around to printing these off...somehow, someway....soon.....and next time you're down, we'll do the whole slide show!

THanks, Nancy and Mom and Nelly! So nice of you. They were totally professional during this shoot, posing at almost light speed. When I took my kids back the next day I realized how spoiled I was with the older kids the day before. I almsot pulled my hair out. I would ask Mae to look natural and she would smile this ridiculous smile and tilt her head, and OHMYGOSH . . . took some major patience! I told Clark to look at me and he ran towards oncoming traffic. Glad that one's over.
And, Nancy, I can see this is bothering you. Perhaps a visit is in order? There's a lot of not-for-mormons wine around these parts! You can bring the Eli Bowman family with you, too. :)Free samples up and down wine coutry.(a miles from my house) And, every winery has a FABULOUS restraunt and I will take you to mine. The scenery is reDONKulous, as Eli B. would say. :)
