Well, the 'net has arrived and I am happy. The Verizon guy arrived today and installed all the necessary net-catching equipment for our phone, television and wireless computer stuff. Here's the problem tho-we don't own a land-line phone OR a television. I just have this here 'puter. I guess my mind was stuck in early 1960. I just figured he would arrive with a rotary phone in his black bag and hook me up with a nice model for my kitchen wall. And then I would hate on anyone with a lot of zero's in their number cause that would take longer to dial (thanks Louis CK). But at least I have internet and I can once again speak words of useless information...and give my son-in-law a break. Thanks, Jacob, for all of your patience...you're a plum.
So...now I have to drag the hubby around town to purchase a phone, and a television, and oh yea, a bed....cause we're still using an air mattress that Em and Jacob kindly loaned us. It's like camping out at our house, except we now found a spot with WIFI.
Cheers!
